PC Agent Monitoring Server - Settings in the control-center of PC Agent

In order that the monitoring process of PC Agent can send the records to the server, is necessary to adjust the following setting in configuration of PC Agent on the monitored computer:

(1) Server
Enter the IP-address or host name, at which the server is available. A DDNS hostname can be also defined, if the records should be sent over the Internet to the server. The server contains a tool to update the domain-name-entry automatically.

More settings can be changed:

(2) Port
The port number of the server. This is normally on 45000, however can be changed in the server and in the monitoring process of PC Agent.

(3) Buffer
Records are stored up to the stated value (kilobyte), if the server not available. If this value overstepped, older records are overwritten. Records are stored up to the defined value (in kilobytes), if the server not available. If this value overstepped, older records are overwritten. For reasons of the performance this value should not be higher than 10000 kilobytes.
