PC Agent - Features

PC Agent makes it possible for you to record user activities unnoticed and store encrypted in log-files. This log-files can be send via Internet or local network. The monitoring is completely invisible and easy to use.

Device Activities

Usage or activities in the connected hardware as e.g.:

Printer
Documents which were sent to the local printer spooler in the EMF-format, to printing at a later time.

Following restrictions exist:

  • Works only for print jobs which were sent to the local printer spooler
  • Works only for print jobs in the EMF format (Enhanced Meta File)*
  • Does not work with RAW printing method (print directly to the printer)

* It is not supported by all printer.

Scanner
Pictures which were read over the TWAIN-interface by an image scanner.

RAS-Connection
RAS connections, if possibly with additional information:

  • Connection name
  • Device name
  • Device type
  • User name*
  • Password*
  • Phone number*
  • Domain*
  • Line-holding time*

* Only if the monitoring was launched before the RAS connection.

Removable media
Added or removed drives or media e.g.: CD, DVD, flash cards, USB flash drives or network drives.

If possibly with additional information:

  • Drive type
  • Drive name
  • Serial number
  • File system

Power State
Current energy state of the computer e.g.: standby or hibernate state.

Additional information with notebook computers and the use of UPS (Uninterrupted power source):

  • Process (Standby / Standby closed)
  • Source of energy (Battery, AC, Backup)
  • Battery state (high, low, critical, charging)
  • Battery state in percent
  • Battery life in minutes (rest)*
  • Battery life in minutes (when loaded full)*
