Tips | Installation of the monitoring process
The installation of the monitoring process is automatically executed with the first start of the control-center (MiniKeyLog.exe). After it, you can close the control-center and remove from the monitored PC. The monitoring-process runs without the control-center. The best way, copy the control-center (MiniKeyLog.exe) on a change data medium (eg. disk, flash cards or USB flash drive). | | | Uninstallation of the monitoring process
To uninstall the monitoring process, click on Uninstall in the main-menu of the control-center. The complete monitoring process will be uninstalled and the control-center will be closed. Afterwards if necessary the computer must be restarted. Please notice, that it does not be sufficient to delete the control-center. The monitoring process can only be uninstalled by the control-center (MiniKeyLog.exe). See: Uninstall | | | Update of the monitoring process
The update executed automatically if a newer version of the control-center (MiniKeyLog.exe) started on the computer. Start the new version and wait until the update was executed. It is possible that the computer must be restarted after the update. The function Check for new versionin Info under Configuration, checks if the version of Mini Key Log, used at the moment, is current. If a newer version is available, you are asked if this newer version should be downloaded. |
