Installation of the Microsoft Network Monitor Driver under Windows 2000/XP

Only for PC Agent before version 4.0!

We don't provide any guarantee to the Microsoft network monitor driver (Netmon) will work on your machine. You use at your own risk.

Step 1

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click on Control Panel. Double-click on Network Connections.

Step 2

Open the dialup connection properties (Modem, ISDN, DSL).

Step 3

Choose Networking and then Install...

Step 4

Choose Protocol and then Add...

Step 5

Choose Network Monitor Driver and click OK.

Step 6

Click Close and restart the PC.

Step 7

Start the Control-Center (PCagent.exe) and choose the network adapter "Generic NdisWan adapter". In older versions of PC Agent (before 3.9) choose the network adaptor adapter "NdisWan Adapter\Device\NPF_NdisWanBh". Click in conclusion on "Apply".
