The records will be sent to the PC Agent Server, as soon as the server is reachable. Only one setting is required in the configuration of the monitoring.

IP-address or hostname
The IP address or hostname under which the server is accessible. A DynDNS hostname (DDNS) can also be used.

The following settings are optional:

Port
The port of the server. This is by default 45000, but can be changed in the configuration of the server and in the configuration of the monitoring.

Check for Internet connection
If the standard connection is a dialup connection, it is possible that the dial-up dialog is displayed, if an Internet connection should be established. To avoid this, enable this option.

Automatic configuration of the Windows-Firewall
Creates an exception for the monitoring process in the rules of the Windows firewall for outbound connections.

Settings for using of a proxy server.
